So v6.0.2 is on its way.  MANY MANY many fixes to current bugs and a load of new mods.  This is one of the longest change logs I have ever written, meaning loads of changes.

This thing makes tracking bugs easy.  I never thought anything like this would be good for the pack.  But the fact that i can assign different bugs to people and keep a list of what is fixed and what isnt makes making those change logs alot easier.  Go there if you ever find any bugs.

We are looking at a Mon 10-21-13 release date for v6.0.1 for MC 1.6.4

I cant promise this but its looking good.  The pack will be completed friday and server and installer will be done over the weekend.  all other updates and fixes will have to wait for v6.0.2.  We need to get it out and everytime we get close something updates and we have to grab it and start over. 

Theres a lot of new stuff and returning mods you will love.......

There are so many things wrong here that it makes my head spin. 
I really want to know how giving someone money "helps" the development....  I mean they have already made the mod.  Do they need money to buy programs to help them make the mod that they have already made?  I dont think so.  Im user most of them are using either freeware or pirated versions of programs since when they started the mod no one was handing them money.  Are they trying to make a living off making mods?  I really hope not  thats just retarted. 

Now dont get me wrong if someone wants to give you money for what you have done thats fine.  All I want is for people to say it like it is.  "Hey I made this, I would like money for it.  You dont have to I just would like it."  The whole it helps development is crap,  some lesser minded people will think Oh I better help or the mod will stop being made.  And I think thats the feel the author is trying to get across.   I just hate seeing people throwing money at something for the wrong reasons.  IMO authors shouldnt take money.  There are some gaming communities that will cast you out for trying to make money.  

When money enters things thats when the fun goes out.  Its the same with music,  have you ever liked a band that their first CD was awesome and over time the nexted ones kinda started to suck.  Its like with metal, you may not like it but I do.  One example I can think of is korn.  When I was still in middle school I thought the first kron CD was awesome as hell.  But as time went on the band figured out what kinda songs of theirs were popular and got them more attention.  That was the softer more raido-friendly stuff.  So there sound change and became something that I didnt like as much as the first, pure sound they had at first.  Because they stopped making the music they loved and started making it to get more popular and more money.

Thats how I feel about some mods.  I have seen mods start great and open to whatever the community wanted.  Soon after te got popular they stopped it.  Like adfly became more important then anything else.

Now one other thing that you cant see is whats in that spoiler.   it says that if you mirror the download on another site the author will seek damages for it.  That means he will sue you for his damages.  Damages means the money that he has lost......   Doesnt mojang say you cant sell mods?  How can you have lost money on something that you cant sell....?  But lets face it.  I have talked with an author of a VERY popular mod author that adflys is links.  He said that over a year and a half hes made 800 dollar, which 100's of thousands of downloads.  I dont think that some of these guys understand what taking someone to court cost you.  You will need a lawyer and they normally want 5000 dollars right off the bat to even get started.  Im user its higher and lower all over the place.  But generally around the same.  Plus you have to have court where ever the crime is committed.  Meaning if you live in New York and the guy boot-legging your mod is in Texas, YOU have to pay to get down there and stay the whole time.  Is someone ever going to pay 5000-10000 dollars to get back 800 dollars???????  NO.  Thats why we have never seen a law suit about a mod.

All Im saying is I wish people would stop all the bitching and stop posing shit like that and just say it like it is,  "Leave my stuff alone and I would like some money."  those people might actually get something from me then.  But probably not,  I dont think this should be a money game and dont want to encourage it.  I know I have a donate page  but again I say what its for.  If you want to.  It want make me 'Keep working" or make me work faster.  Its there for te people that want to.  If you dont then dont.  I have made this far in my life with needing pennies from otheres I guess I can keep it going.

From my understanding the 1.6.4 pack is good shape.  Minus a few mods of course from lack of an update.  I have spoken with Iamomicron and we think (cross fingers) that we can have it out by the beginning of next week.  This is also my birthday weekend, which is not a big deal but its also my wifes birthday to.  We are days apart.  So our families like to make a big deal about it.  We have a lot planned and this all doesnt matter to you but I wont be around to get as much done as I should. 

I have almost finished with usefulDNS update.  This also is not a big deal but i wanted to have it done and out of the way to start on pack and not have to come back to it later.   I have added a few new things (Swiss Army Knife FTW)  and since project red seems to making a come back in 1.6.4 some of the tools i built are pointless, I was trying to replace the redpower tools just cause I like them.

Anyways  just wanted to let you guys know whats going on.  I hope that 1.6.4 will be out soon and hope that these new versions of the 1.6.4 mods fix the ton of bugs we have found with them.  Everyone keep those fingers crossed.  It sucks that we have to deal with these bugs but thats the price we as pack makers and pack users pay for always updating first.  Our bug reports are what get the mods in shape for all the other bigger packs to be the greatest things ever. (oh and remain three minecraft versions behind all the time :/ )


But for the last thing i have to say.  We are going to keep MFFS  but which version is up to you.
